Staying connected at Embedded World 2023

This year, Embedded World once again provided an unmatched insight into the world of embedded systems and IoT applications. Our Sales Manager Manuel Marbach and our Mobile Mark Partner Patrick Simpson were also present at the global industry meeting point of the embedded community.
This year's topics focused on the various challenges concerning a modern design concept of complex embedded systems, but also responsible and sustainable were central topics, because:
- More and more embedded systems are used in function-critical applications - adaptive, autonomous, and intelligent systems have to take over responsible tasks in a safe and responsible way - this means that many questions are still open and have to be answered.
- And the efficient and sustainable application does not stop at embedded systems - apart from that, the systems themselves should also be sustainable over the entire life cycle.
One of the most important trends at the exhibition was the increasing integration of AI in embedded systems. Detecting product defects with the help of AI models is just one example of automated quality control in manufacturing. But also, megatrends M2M communications, safety & security were dominant topics, at the exhibition as well as in the conferences.
Apart from the insights into the latest technologies and applications, it was a great opportunity to meet again with like-minded people as well as experts in this field.
