Via livestream at the Green Zoo - Riedel makes it possible!

If a visit to the zoo is not possible due to the current situation, our co-owner and partner Riedel Communications will bring the zoo to your home.
Many people, especially children, lack a little variety in their Corona everyday life. Our co-owner and partner is committed to providing just that little bit of variety and at the same time supporting the Green Zoo in Wuppertal.
The zoological gardens suffer particularly badly from the corona crisis, because they simply lack the entrance fees. Our co-owner Riedel Communications normally provides the technical infrastructure for major events such as the Olympics, German Soccer League, Formula 1 races, etc. However, as almost all events have been postponed or cancelled due to COVID-19, Riedel has decided to launch the non-profit project "Livestream im Grünen Zoo". On the one hand to support the local zoo and on the other hand to make the visit to the zoo experienceable for a wide audience. Numerous cameras and microphones were already installed in the zoo in early April. The elephant house as well as the complete outdoor facilities can be viewed from different perspectives. On 6.3.2020 baby elephant "Tsavo" was born in the elephant house, another elephant birth is still to come and who knows maybe you will be there live.
