We develop and produce prototypes as well as small series and carry out simulations and measurements in our high-frequency laboratory. The PIDSO team fulfills orders in the areas of automotive industry, aircraft, manned and unmanned aerial vehicles, event transmission, as well as industry 4.0 and infrastructure.

The Mission

As an Embedded Systems & Verification Engineer, you are the link between high-level software and custom hardware. You will build and maintain the Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) infrastructure that ensures our Radar & communication systems meet the highest reliability and safety standards.

Under guidance of our team, you verify that our Zynq-based platforms are not only functional but fully compliant with EN9100/Aerospace certification requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Hardware-Software Integration: Develop and debug low-level drivers (I2C, SPI, UART, AXI, DMA) and Board Support Packages (BSPs) for Zynq-7000 and UltraScale+ architectures.

  • HIL Architecture: Design and build automated Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test benches to simulate real-world sensor data, RF signals, and system loads.

  • Verification & Automation: Build and maintain automated test benches to simulate real-world sensor data and system loads.

  • Compliance & Documentation: Execute formal verification tests and generate the technical artifacts (test reports/traceability) required for EN9100 certification.

  • System Debugging: Use logic analyzers and high-speed scopes to track down bugs at the HW/SW interface.

 

 

Your Profile

  • Education: BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.

  • Embedded Skills: Strong proficiency in C/C++ for bare-metal or RTOS-based driver development and Python for test automation and scripting.

  • Platform Knowledge: Good understanding of FPGA-SoC architectures (specifically Xilinx Zynq-7000, UltraScale+) and peripheral bus systems (AXI, PCIe) or high-speed transceivers.

  • Lab Proficiency: Hands-on experience with standard lab equipment. You are comfortable using a soldering iron for prototype adjustments.

  • Quality Mindset: You are detail-oriented and motivated to learn the rigorous documentation standards of the aerospace industry (EN9100/DO-178C).

  • Tools: Familiarity with Git-based workflows (e.g. Bitbucket) and CI/CD pipelines, and the Atlassian suite (Jira/Confluence).

  • Soft Skills: A proactive communicator who enjoys solving problems at the boundary of hardware and software.

  • Personal Interests: A curiosity for Radar technology, Software Defined Radio (SDR), or RF engineering is a significant plus.

As a Technical Sales Manager, you drive the success of our high-tech solutions in the market. You identify customer needs early, translate them into technically sound concepts, and bring them to life together with R&D and production. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and expand existing B2B customer relationships

Your Mission

As a Product Manager, you have the responsibility for our product portfolio and its market success. You translate customer requirements into technical solutions, develop the portfolio further, and ensure that every PIDSO product arrives exactly where it is needed. You form the interface between R&D, production, and sales and report directly to the executive management.

 

Your Tasks

  • Responsibility for our product portfolio including further development and ensuring market success

  • Development and implementation of product strategies and roadmaps in close coordination with sales, R&D, and production

  • Responsibility for the entire product lifecycle – from the idea through development to market launch and series production

  • Active co-design of customer solutions and creation of offers together with sales

  • Close cooperation with R&D for the prioritization and implementation of technical requirements

  • Prioritization of features and requirements as well as definition of Value Proposition & Use Case for products and solutions

  • Ongoing optimization of products regarding quality and costs

  • Creation and further development of product documents, data sheets, and presentations

  • Ensuring a clear positioning and differentiation of the products in the market

Your Profile 

  • Completed technical degree or comparable qualification with corresponding professional experience

  • Several years of experience in Product Management, technical sales, or application engineering

  • Distinct understanding of complex technical systems (e.g., high-frequency technology, antennas, or comparable technologies)

  • Provable ability to translate customer requirements into marketable product solutions as well as experience in the prioritization of requirements and steering of product developments

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking with a clear focus on market and customer needs

  • Business fluent German and English (written and spoken), further foreign languages an advantage

  • Initiative, hands-on mentality and structured way of working

  • Excellent MS-Office skills

  • Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP) desirable
