Vienna, April 2023 - Despite current challenges such as the energy crisis and high inflation, PIDSO, Austria's leading supplier of antenna technology, has completed a significant expansion.

The demo car developed by DTM and partner Schaeffler for the all-electric racing series "DTM Electric" planned for the future - was already presented for the first time at the end of 2020. In September of this year, fans were able to get a further impression in Spielberg - at the DTM Electric Remote Run - when the demo car completed a lap of the Red Bull Ring at up to 180km/h without a driver in the cockpit.

Only a few months after forging their partnership, Riedel Communications and PIDSO have rolled out their first joint project — a comprehensive solution for the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM, German Touring Car Masters). The two companies have designed and installed a broadband audio communications system for DTM that integrates advanced antenna technology from PIDSO with Riedel©s MediorNet real-time network.

Riedel Communications has brought on board a powerful new center of expertise through a partnership with PIDSO, a leading manufacturer of innovative and lightweight antennas and antenna systems based in Vienna. With the deal, Riedel assumes a majority financial position in PIDSO, accelerating development of solutions that leverage PIDSO antenna systems with Riedel©s industry-leading family of communications systems.

Two Austrian high-tech companies, the aircraft manufacturer Diamond Aircraft Industries GmbH and PIDSO - Propagation Ideas & Solutions GmbH, producer of antennas, jointly developed a brand-new antenna solution.
